The Hand of Hope

Everyone deserves a second chance at every good thing they desire. Jesus our perfect example, he gave everyone that came in contact with Him a second chance to experience a change of situation.

Matthew 25: 35-40 35 ‘For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36 naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ 37“Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? 38‘ And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? 39‘When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40“The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’

Nobody should be left alone at their lowest level in life, either spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally, medically, financially, and likewise basic needs (provisions). We are to extend our ‘Hand of Hope’ to this individuals with whatever God has placed in our hands. We are blessed to be a blessing to others!

Psalm 41:1-3

Blessed is the one who has concern for helpless people. The LORD will rescue him in times of trouble. 2 The LORD will protect him and keep him alive. He will be blessed in the land. You will not be placed at the mercy of your enemies. 3 The LORD will support him on his sickbed. God will restore this person to health when he is ill.  (G.W Translation).

Therefore, we encourage every one of you to extend your ‘Hand of Hope’ to that individual right before you or around you. Together, we can make the world a hopeful, happy, loving and fulfilled place.   A.Olajire
